Beginner Friendly! You will learn how to transfer an image of your choice to a 4x6” Speedy Carve substrate, and you will learn how to safely carve your block using linocut tools. Instructor will have images for your use or you may bring your own line drawing. Once your design is completed, we will print on a variety of papers and card stock. We will use burnishing techniques and will have a small portable press that I have made for workshop use. You will leave with several finished prints and cards that you have printed, as well as the block you carved. Your carved block can be used again and again, in whatever print medium you desire. Warning: lino cut block printing is addictive!
