Button Making with Bronze Clay

Caitlin McNamara
10:00 - 2:30
Tuesday March 16
$150.00

Please Note the Time of This class

Bronze clay begins as a workable, malleable material that once fired in a kiln transforms into beautiful, gold-toned metal creations. In this class we will focus on making tiny necklace charms and other 3D shapes. Feeling ambitious? Make a tiny dog.
Feeling seasonal? Make a tiny pumpkin. Feeling timeless? Make stringable beads. Amount of clay provided will allow for several pieces to be made - exact number depending on size and complication of designs. Experience with metal clay or polymer clay is helpful, but not necessary.

PLEASE NOTE: Work will be fired off-premises following this class. Students may visit the following day's class (between the hours of 11 and 1 pm) to collect their work and, if desired, tumble finish their art. All bronze clay students are welcomed to return on Friday, March 19, at 12:30pm for a special session to learn additional finishing techniques. .
